Scandlines - Danish-German ferry lines is one of the biggest shipowner that is offering his services on the Baltic Sea. Annually Scandlines transports about 20 million passengers and 4 million cars. The company was established in 1998 as the result of a fusion between two railway ferry lines. Since then thanks to a dynamic development (mainly through taking over smaller companies) the company gained a significant part of the car transport through the Baltic Sea. Nowadays, Scandlines ports of destination are located in Denmark, Germany and Sweden national colours of these countries are included in the logo of Scandlines.
